Levi Turned One (It's only been one year???)

Chuck and I remarked that when Ricky turned a year old that it had seemed like it had only been a few months, but when Levi turned one, it seemed like it had been a few YEARS.  So much has happened to our family in the past year so we're not saying it's all been about him; it's just that the year since his birth has been filled with lots of changes, some good and some well, they may have started out bad, but maybe have brought good changes.  But dang, I sure wish there would have been an easier way to get to this destination.  I know, the road less traveled by and all that crap, oops I mean jazz.

I'm trying to figure out how to post pics, but it just keeps locking up on me.  I will try again tomorrow night.

My very first personal blog post

Yes, it's true, I am behind the times with this blogging thing.  But hey, at least I'm finally here!!

As for my blog title, several months ago my oldest son Ricky was responding to my drilling on whether certain people were boys or girls.  I asked about his Mom's Day Out teachers and certain girls in his play group and he correctly responded, "Girls" to each individual person I queried.  Then I asked if Levi was a boy or girl and again, he correctly responded, "Boy."  Next came Daddy and again, he correctly answered that Daddy was most certainly a boy.  (We had to get the boy or girl thing down first before moving on to man, woman, etc.) But the best came before I even had a chance to ask about me because he said, "And Mommy is the Queen."  I kissed him soundly and told him never to forget it!!  I think being Queen is a much more descriptive title than SAHM and I have decided to keep it.
